25 years ago, I started Frontier Ski, a small tour operator specialising in ski holidays to Canada. Strange as it may seem today, skiing in Canada was almost unknown to Europeans. The Fairmont Chateau Whistler had not been built and the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise had only recently opened its doors during the winter. Since those early days thanks to our loyal and wonderful guests, we have grown into a leading provider of travel for both winter and summer holidays to the USA and Canada.
I have decided that I need to spend more time travelling so have semi retired and passed the Managing Directorial reins to Jeremy Timms who has worked with me for 18 years so knows the business inside out so whilst it is all change, it is also all the same. The same great team of staff, a change of office but not of telephone number.
True to my plans, I have just returned from a fabulous 4 weeks visiting New Caledonia, the Barrier Reef, Sydney and the Blue Mountains so if you want to know anything about that, just get in touch please.
One of the jobs I have neglected is that of writing this blog. I hope my new found freedom will allow me time to rectify this so please keep in touch.
